Valentine Viannay

Valentine Viannay is a French artist and designer who merges a wide range of methods and materials in her distinctive body of work. Born in Paris in 1970, she grew up in a community of dancers, jewelers, painters and musicians and was instilled with a love of art. Valentine went on to attend the Parsons School of Design. In 2016, she opened a public studio and gallery—L’Atelier—in San Diego where she creates art in various forms including painting, printing and jewelry making. Soon after, Valentine began sharing her colorful tea towels in fruit, vegetable, and other designs at the BWE. Last year we added her whimsical jewelry to our collection. “I am so pleased to be part of your organization. Truly, it makes my heart tickle.”
