Folkloric Jewelry is based on the traditional and ancient techniques of wire wrapping, forging, and knotting on silk. Elena Carey's focus is on semi-precious stones, gold fill, and silk. Some materials are very limited and only a few can be made before altering a design. All of Elena’s pieces are made by hand and are inspired by people and creatures of history and folklore.
