The Brooklyn Women’s Exchange has numerous crafters that are able to take custom orders to your specified needs. Highlighted below are a few of our crafters offering customizable layette products we currently carry in our store. Framed Personalized Birth Announcements

Born in Chicago where she studied painting, and now living in Connecticut, Nancy Gloh-Rosenthal paints her delightful neighborhood scenes and personalized baby birth announcements on 100% rag, hand-molded French paper. Nancy's work is exhibited regularly and appears in collections worldwide. Her colorful and whimsical framed art makes a perfect customized gift for new parents or happy homeowners. If you are interested in ordering a made-to-order framed birth announcement, please make sure to provide the child's full name, birth date, weight, height and time of birth.  

Personalized Crib Banners

Personalized, one-of-a-kind decorative baby items, often made from recycled fabrics, are Heidi Magenheimer's  specialty. Heidi began her self-taught crafting work more than forty years ago after her fifth child was born. The Brooklyn Women's Exchange is delighted to be one of five Exchanges offering her made-to-order personalized crib banners. Crib banners are available in pink, blue or green with elephants, hippos or hearts.  For custom orders, please make sure to provide your child's full name as well as the desired color and shape or animal you would like.
